Caledonia High School Athletics

The Fighting Scots got a huge win over OK Green rival Mona Shores in our Cal Slams Cancer / Senior Night / Youth Night game. Great team play, grit, and determination helped the Scots weather a late run that saw Mona take the lead late in the 4th quarter. The Scots responded with great play-making and FT shooting to close the game out and secure a victory. Kayla Briseno was everywhere and finished with 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Myla Gortmaker's late free-throw shooting (5/6) helped close out the game and she totaled 7 points and 3 rebounds. Reese Abbot led the way with 13 points, 2 assists, and 3 steals. Brooklyn McLeod totaled 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Our seniors, Baylee Devries and Jolie King left their mark on the game with amazing hustle and leadership. Baylee ended with 3 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals while Jolie totaled 6 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals, and a CHARGE TAKEN!
