The Caledonia boys team kicked off their season in Jenison tonight in the wind and rain. As the rain and wind cleared the team continued to get better and better. It was a close meet that wasn't decided until the 2nd to last event, the 3200. Caledonia won the meet 74-63! It was a true team effort and showed the depth the team has. Some of the highlights were Noah Johnston winning 3 events (the 3 longest on the track), the 3200 relay team running the fastest time in the state so far, sweeping the discus 9-0, and Levi Dorband coming from being seeded 5th to WIN the 200 meters. There were many more amazing performances on the night! The boys will continue to work and improve until their next meet against Muskegon.
