Caledonia High School Athletics

The Caledonia ladies ran some great times against some great competition Friday night at the Ottawa Hills Invitational at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, The ladies placed 10th out of 22 schools in the meet, with Akaela Daman leading the team as a medalist in 17th place with a time of 18:59. The JV ladies placed 6th out of the 22 schools, and Meghan Venhuizen medaled in 21st place. The race featured 6 teams in the top 8 of the state currently. The team ran well and finished 6th overall. The team was led by medalists Bennett Snapper (20th place - 15:55) and Sean Thompson (23rd place - 16:00). In the JV race, the team ran to a 4th-place finish and was led by 2 medalists, Liam Dykhouse (5th place - 17:19) and Mason Harrison (12th place - 17:49).
